Our hibernation begins. Time to roast the chestnuts, snuggle up in fleeces, catch up on some family time (and finally sort out my sock drawer😜)Really Nurturing myself didn't come naturally to me, it began as a learned behaviour after a lifetime of fight/flight, and in recent years has become an essential part of my wellbeing on all levels. It takes a bit of effort & risk to create nurturing/retreating/me-time in your life, yet the benefits are sustaining. Even a day every so often. So find your nurturing space no matter big or small. A candlelit bath with a book. A podcast next to the fire. Sorting through old photo albums or family recipes. Collecting leaves to press into a book. Puzzles.
