Lomi Lomi Nui – Ancient Hawaiian Healing Massage

Lomi Lomi Practitioner Training: 8 day residential retreat at Aloha House!

Transform how you Think, Breathe, & Move

Activate your intuition

Rekindle with Nature & the Elements

Enhance your relationship with your own body & spirit

As we as Westerners are indebted to the Hawaiian culture for the practice of this sacred work, this training will include foundations of Hawaiian history, cultural values & philosophies, as carried forward by my teachers. This will form the foundation for the full body Lomi Lomi Nui bodywork.

Lomi Lomi is a deep, flowing, profound massage & energy work using the forearms in long flowing all around the body, with joint rotations and stretches. Using the breath, and mental focus, we connect in a deep level to work intuitively with our clients.

Programme:

We start the journey with a traditional Welcome Ceremony on the Saturday night. Then 3 full days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) of basic Lomi Lomi Nui strokes on the full body. Part of the training includes body awareness & mechanics to maximise your effectiveness and learning how to move & breathe.

Wednesday becomes a very special day designed for YOU to choose what you wish to fill it with. Options to self-study and practice Lomi Lomi with your group, or rest, or take a tour.

The final 4 days is more intense & rich as we dive deeper into the Hawaiian philosophies and discover how to assess clients energetically & work more intuitively. Techniques include Underbody Strokes, Side-Lying Techniques, embodying The Elements earth water fire & air, Hawaiian Hot Stones and Intuitive Initiations.

At the end of the 8 days, we will have a graduation ceremony where you will receive your Certificate as Lomi Lomi Practitioner, issued by Lomi Lomi Ireland School of Hawaiian Healing Arts.

Is this For You?

Anybody can learn this massage – you do not need prior massage experience. Those who already have a massage qualification can easily add Lomi Lomi to their insurance. Those who have no other qualification, can practice on family & friends only.
