what a wonderful experience this retreat exceeded my expectations. i have been on several retreats in the last few years, from the moment you walk through the door of this lovely hotel you feel a warm sense and glow to be met by the lovely Louise and Brian who go out of their way to make you comfortable, they really couldn't do enough for you with warmth and kindness, there is so much to talk about !! Rooms are pristine clean warm and very comfortable, food cooked by Brian was absolutely exquisite and plenty to satisfy any appetite all vegetarian and Vegan with delicious flavor. The sound Bath meditation really works to help you switch off, clear your mind and reflect peacefully a lovely experience. the yoga classes were suitable for all levels and skill sets, the Ariel Yoga is fabulous and again suitable for all levels and experience I was surprised l could do so much considering l had never done it before and was nursing injured ligaments in my ankle Louise is a great instructor and very mindful of each individual. I also had a Lomi Lomi massage from Louise a Hawaiian massage which works on balancing and aligning the spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional aspects of your body reducing stress, it was all of that. You will feel relaxed but energized, uplifted in both mind and body and go home wishing you could come back the following week. thank you to everyone at Aloha House.......namaste

Louise and Brian are wonderful hosts and have created the perfectly balanced yoga retreat weekend at their gorgeous peaceful home overlooking the Laune river in Killorglin. We received a warm welcome on Friday night, and the first of many delicious home-prepared vegetarian meals. The food was top class, we looked forward to each meal and the plates were invariably polished off, the group unanimous that the food quality was second to none. The yoga classes were varied over the weekend, wirh iyengar, hatha and aerial yoga on offer to suit all abilities. Louise is an excellent instructor, and her calm, good-humored approach put us all at ease and encouraged even the least experienced of us to enjoy trying aerial yoga, and surprising ourselves with what was possible. It was great fun throughout, lots of laughter and a very safe, encouraging environment. For the more experienced, there were options given to try more complex positions, and the balance worked well for everyone. We enjoyed some very special soundbath meditations at night, which have to be experienced. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was perfectly relaxed and peaceful. This weekend represents excellent value for money and having been on several retreats over the years, this was by far my favourite. I hope to come back soon.

Wonderful oasis of calm in the heart of the Kingdom
Everything was amazing. The smell as you enter the property, the decor, the room and facilities (Barrys tea and biscuits!). It was the perfect combination of yoga work outs, stretches and relaxation. I feel that I learnt alot and that my home practice will improve, I fell in love with aerial yoga and will look for classes here and the meditations were stunning. The food was delicious, the pace was perfect and the atmosphere and energy was warming and healing.

Hawaiian Heaven in Kerry
I rent Namaste Studio every Friday night for Funky Friday Biodanza and this is the most perfect venue, with a wonderfully cosy atmosphere kept in pristine condition, lovely heated flooring for the wintertime and all the amenities one might need to hand. Anything needed is readily provided by our host who is super professional. I highly recommend Aloha House and the owners who will make anyone's stay an absolute pleasure.

I booked a yoga retreat for last weekend at the Aloha House with Louis and Brian and I’m already looking forward to going back. Everything about it was marvellous. I enjoyed every bit of the programme, it was so complete. The yoga classes were fulfilling and relaxing at the same time. Louis was delightful and I loved her energy and the confidence she spreads. The food that Brian cooked for us was amazing, each meal was better than the other. The sound healing sessions were renewing and magical, and the views from the house were beautifully soothing. Absolutely loved my experience here and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in yoga retreats.

Wonderful experience at the Aloha House.
I had the most amazing Hawaiian massage in my life. Two hours totally dedicated to healing your body with the energy of pure love and devotion. You happily surrender to all sensations - gentle heat coming from the stones, sounds of invocatory Hawaiin chants sung live, gliding movements of the arms touching you so intimately like your mother when you were a child or your lover who wants to express all his love without words. Such beautiful experience of total trust and surrender accompanied by the sounds of divine music (the session ended with Omkara's Remember Who You Are). I'm ready to fly from Portugal for this...

I hired the studio yesterday to run a workshop and it was a delightful experience. I'll definitely be back. The participants and I all enjoyed the wonderful energy of the place, not to mention the views and fresh air. Some were travelling a long distance and stayed at Aloha house and really enjoyed the accommodation there too. Superb venue, many thanks.

I stayed in Aloha house on numerous occasions. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the warm welcome I think I've stayed in every room and was never disappointed. The owners Louise and Brian are very friendly and helpful. The location on the river is stunning looking forward to the next time Derek.

This place is AMAZING!!
Me and my partner were at a huge loose end after a day of cycling from caherdaniel, we ended up in Killorglin at the busiest time of year when they hold the annual Puck Fair, of course there is no where to wild camp and everywhere from campsites to hotels were full, we stumbled across Aloha House and tried our luck there, it was a squeeze for them but they welcomed us into their beautiful house nonetheless. Louise, Brian and their lovely kids and dog made us feel very welcome and we will definitely be returning. The house is stunningly decorated with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, it is spotlessly clean and there are plenty of rooms to relax in. Absolutely recommended to anyone wanting a peaceful escape. Thanks again

It's near impossible to find words to describe the magic of Louise, her family and home. I'm only just back and already thinking about when I can return to spend time in this special space. Louise creates and holds space with such genuine compassion and Love. I always leave feeling so supported, loved, and confident in my learning. Highly recommend this life changing experience! Mahalo

Aloha. I have just completed Lomi Lomi training with Louise. I would recommend to come to this place from as far as you need to. It is worth! For the Teacher first of all. For the amazing loving space she creates. For the feeling of sharing with others very precious moments. For Your Self. It will stay with you forever. I loved every moment of it. I feel like I found a magic land to which I always want to return.

I would highly recommend Aloha House. From the minute you arrive the atmosphere is so relaxing, my room was beautiful and the view from my window was stunning, over looking the gardens and the river.. It has a lovely relaxed vibe and Louise was so lovely and welcoming. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the village. I stayed a week and didn't want to leave. I will definitely come and stay again. Soon I hope!

Fantastic setting and friendly but not intrusive owners. The atmosphere in this guest is so relaxed and chilled and great value for money. Primerly a yoga and Buddhist retreat but excellent as a guest house to your the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula.

I attended an Aerial Yoga retreat that Louise and Brian facilitated and it was incredible. That was my word to describe the weekend. From the delicious healthy fresh food provided, to the comfort of my room, to the shared space where I curled up with a hot beverage and great chats with my friends also attending, to the actual retreat: Sound Meditation , Iyengar yoga, Aerial Yoga and Kambal meditation... It was exceptional. Between blissful relaxing and stretching, you could sneak in a river walkbor sea swim in Rossbeigh or even a nap ... True story. Don't hesitate to book in because I am sure the spaces wont be available long.

I have stayed at Aloha House a number of times for Lomi Lomi retreats. I always have a wonderful time. Louise is a wise and gifted teacher and I feel very blessed to learn from her. Both herself, Brian and family are welcoming, friendly and exceptional hosts. The rooms are comfortable and spotless and the food is amazing. It is a beautiful space in a stunning setting overlooking the river Laune and with a view of the mountains and the town of Kilorglin. Each time I stay there, I leave feeling a renewed sense of peace and calm. I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommended. Caroline 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Louis and Brian.

Just had one of the most fantastic days of yoga ever, but the best part was our kids got to enjoy a day in nature while Mom got the benefits of an outstanding yoga practice. Thanks Louise for the magical day in Aloha house and for the wonderful food by her husband Brian. This is a must do. Thanks for organising such a super event. Cannot wait to come back. 💗🙏🤝
